Ransome's dog

You all know my Airedale, Ransome. What you may not know is that I have three dogs. That seems like a lot to me, too. Let me explain. First, in 1997, I got Ransome. When I went to work, Ransome was SO lonely. I had to get him a dog of his own. I got Buddy, he is a Jack Russell terrier. Buddy was about a year old when I got him in 1998. He was already trained and a wonderful dog. His owner was gone all day, and couldn't care for Buddy, so I took him. He was so excited to have a big yard to play in; sometimes he still stays outside all day. Now Ransome is happy; he has his own dog. Then came Hemi, my third dog, a Miniature Schnauzer. I had no intention of buying this dog. I made the mistake of picking him up; then he owned me. How could I resist?

These dogs are great and they live like kings. Now that I am retired, they consider me "part of the pack". I have to remind them daily that I am the pack leader. Just like the kids, they know I am a push-over. I love my dogs even though they are a lot of work to take care of. They are worth it. They are my "fur kids"!

They do leave pawprints on our hearts.

I'm sure they are great company and loyal for life (unlike some humans!). Nice to meecha, boys.

Your dogs have very appealing expressions on their faces. They sound like great furry pals!

So, where's the pix of the Jack Russell Terrier???

Couldn't you just eat these guys up? They are so cute. We love dogs but the cars on our street don't love them. We don't have a fenced-in yard so no dogs, just cats. They seem to have sense enough to stay off the street.

Okay, so I don't know my dog breeds. After looking at the pictures again, I realized that the first one couldn't possibly be an airedale. Duh.

So, where's the picture of Ransome???

The leader of the pack...isn't that a cue for a song?
Very cute pooches. I can see why you're a pushover :)
They help round out the family, don't they?
We haven't had good luck with dogs. Which is not to say we haven't had some great dogs in years past.

I love your fur pals. I've always loved dogs and I'll have another one as soon as I settle down and start staying at home.
After my little 15 year old dog died in 2004, I decided not to have another dog until I could give it my full attention...and I will probably get two dogs. I think it's cruel to have only one of a species.

Wouldn't Ransome pose for a picture?
