In case you haven't heard, DON'T EAT SPINACH! Oh, thanks, I already ate some last Wednesday night!!!! If you don't hear from me you will know why! (I had frozen spinach, so I hope that doesn't count)

huh? What's this about?

Jelly, spinach is contaminated in the USA with e-coli bacteria. Some people have gotten sick, and they are suggesting that we throw away all spinach.

Ewww, NASTY! (If you're still OK after this long, you should be fine though)

This is about as bad as it gets. You buy a product that says it's been triple washed and yet all the washing in the world won't get rid of the e-coli. Makes me not want to purchase any more bagged salad!

Kentucky has four cases (one a 17 y/o from Paducah who remains in Vanderbilt University Hospital). I read this morning that there are over 100 cases reported. I just wonder how many more had symptoms but never reported it because they weren't that severe.

I love canned spinach...so I'm safe, but I won't be eating any fresh salads.
