Welcome to Florida!

"I will bite your arms and/ or legs off!"

"What part of "dangerous" didn't you understand?"

"I have my mouth open so you will step inside, I will have you over for lunch!"

"If you let your little dogs/ cats/ children near me, I will eat them." "No, I am not mean, they just look like prey to me."

You got it just right. We had a neighbor once who had a gator in his pond and bragged that he was feeding it - we tried to warn him of the dangers but he just laughed them off - well a lot fewer chickens and small goats later he understood our warning. Now we had one in our pond and I don't know if it may have been the same one or not but since it was on our property and a nusince we had some very nice gater fried up. People come down from up north and just don't understand the reptilian brain.

I don't live anywhere near gators, but even I can understand the dangers that they represent.

What is going on with your gators Tuffenuf? They are going wild.
It's like the shark attacks...we heard something everyday about someone being attacked by sharks and now we are hearing something happening everyday with gators...They are even knocking on doors.
